Permatex Ultra Blue sensor-safe RTV silicone gasket makers are formulated for formed-in-place gaskets in mechanical assemblies. They offer superior oil resistance and flexibility—eight times more flexible than cork/composite gaskets and three times more oil resistant than conventional silicones—while maintaining torque retention and resisting aging, weathering and thermal cycling without hardening, shrinking or cracking. These low-odor, non-corrosive, OEM-specified gasket makers perform across a wide temperature range (-65°F to 500°F intermittent) and are suited for valve covers, oil pans, timing covers, transmission pans and differential covers. The Ultra Blue series provides sensor-safe, hi-temp sealing for modern engine applications and resists auto and shop fluids and vibration.
