The ERGODYNE Skullerz 8974 safety helmet family delivers heavy-duty head protection in a lightweight, comfortable design. Constructed to provide coverage to the front, back, top and sides of the head, the helmet uses a flexible open frame with 6-point suspension to improve fit and air circulation. A ratchet one-handed adjustment knob and chin strap ensure a secure fit, while a removable, moisture-wicking and odor-resistant sweatband and top pad add comfort and easy maintenance. The compact short-brim shell enhances upward visibility and overall awareness on the job. Built to meet ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 Type 1, Class E, EN12492 side-impact testing requirements and CSA Z94.1-15, the Skullerz 8974 is suited for construction, utilities, mining and other industrial applications requiring reliable impact protection.
