Ergodyne Skullerz 8966 vented cap-style hard hats combine lightweight high-density polyethylene (HDPE) construction with adjustable suspension and ratchet fit for a secure, comfortable fit on the job. The one-handed LockFit ratchet provides 36 points of adjustment while the height-adjustable 6-point suspension disperses impact force and pivots to clear headwear. The flexible open suspension and always-open venting improve air circulation for cooler wear, and the removable foam-backed sweatband is breathable and washable for all-day comfort. The cap-style brim wears forward or backward and the shell includes dedicated locations for attaching ear protection, headlamp straps, lanyards, face shields and chin straps. Designed for construction and industrial use and tested to ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 and CSA Z94.1-15 Type 1, Class C standards.
