The StarTech.com Cat5e snagless UTP RJ45 patch cable family provides high-quality components and construction for reliable network installations. Each cable is built with 24 AWG 100% copper conductors and 50-micron gold-plated RJ45 contacts to ensure optimal conductivity and reduced oxidation. The snagless boot design protects connector clips during routing, while molded PVC strain relief helps prevent termination bending and connector damage. The PVC jacket enables color-coding of runs; cables meet or exceed Cat5e specifications to support Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet (1 Gbps) at up to 350 MHz and Power over Ethernet (PoE). Typical uses include patching from hubs to distribution panels and connecting workstations, switches, routers, servers and VoIP devices.
