The Skullerz 8951 Vented Hard Shell Bump Cap by ERGODYNE combines a durable polyethylene (HDPE) shell with a ventilated suspension system to provide lightweight protection and all-day comfort. Strategically placed shell vents and a ventilated 4-point suspension improve air circulation while a removable, replaceable 4 mm foam-backed fabric sweatband helps manage perspiration. The adjustable ratchet suspension allows customization of height, rear strap angle and fit for a range of head sizes. Recessed sides permit comfortable use with hearing protection and the short, flat angled brim enhances upward visibility. Typical applications include mechanics, airline baggage handling, food processing/manufacturing, inspections and other tasks where protection from lower-energy, worker-generated impacts is needed. Not intended for use where ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 hard hats are required.
