The StarTech.com 3.5mm 4-pole TRRS headset extension cable extends the reach between your hands-free headset or headphones and your iPhone, mobile phone or laptop. It uses 4-pole 3.5mm (1/8") TRRS mini-phone connectors (male-to-female) with molded PVC strain relief at each connector to prevent bending at termination points. The cable is shielded (90% spiral wrapped connector) to protect against EMI and RFI interference, and features a PVC jacket with copper conductor for durable audio connections. For proper hardware detection we recommend plugging the external headset into the adapter first before connecting to the device; in some circumstances in-line remote control functions may not operate properly.
