The TRIPP LITE USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Type-A extension cable family provides reliable male-to-female extension and termination options for USB-A connections. Designed for connecting computers, keyboards, external hard drives and flash drives, these cables support up to 5 Gbps and provide a bi-directional data interface while remaining backward compatible with earlier USB generations. Construction highlights include molded nickel-plated connectors with gold-plated copper contacts, premium foil and braid shielding for EMI/RFI protection, integral strain relief, rugged PVC jacket and twisted 28 AWG data lines with 24 AWG power lines. The series includes panel-mount and keystone jack styles for fixed locations, clean wallplate installations or rack/panel use, and is covered by a lifetime limited warranty.
