The Mail Boss in-ground steel mounting post is made of heavy-gauge 10- and 14-gauge galvanized steel with a durable powder-coated finish to protect against the elements. Use this 43" post to mount Mail Boss locking mailboxes; it fits securely over a treated 4" x 4" wood post for deep installations or may be installed directly in-ground and secured with a reinforcing bar or rebar stakes. Four mounting bolts and installation hardware are included along with clear instructions. The post is designed to meet United States Postal Service specifications (incoming mail slot 41"-45" above road surface when post is buried approximately 12") and carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer defects.
