Ergodyne Skullerz 8955 Lightweight Bump Cap Hat combines a durable, impact-resistant high-density polyethylene (HDPE) insert with a breathable outer shell and fine mesh covering for increased airflow. The removable, washable antimicrobial foam liner provides comfort, helps manage sweat and reduces bacterial buildup while vents in the insert and liner channel heat away from the head. Reflective piping enhances visibility in low-light conditions and the long brim design offers added face protection. At less than 5 oz., the cap is comfortable for all-day wear and meets EN 812-2012 standards for industrial bump caps. Not bulky like a hard hat, it is recommended for industrial, mechanic, factory, home and baggage handling applications where protection from bumps, scrapes and minor head impacts is needed.
