The ERGODYNE Skullerz 8970 Series cap-style hard hats are designed to protect the top of the head from falling objects and accidental bumps while maintaining comfort for extended wear. Built with a 4-point ratchet suspension and one-handed adjustment knob, the helmet fits hat sizes 6.5 - 8 for a secure, balanced fit. Interior features include a removable, moisture-wicking, odor-resistant sweatband and removable top pad that are machine-washable; a flexible open frame improves ventilation. Integrated headlamp slots and slotted mounting locations accept headlamps (certain models include an LED light) and accessories such as chin straps, ear protection and face shields. Constructed from durable ABS / PC-ABS materials and certified to ANSI Z89.1-2014 and CSA Z94.1-15 Type 1 Class E standards, the Skullerz 8970 line is suitable for construction, utility, mining and general industrial use.
