The Fibre-Metal by Honeywell Tigerhood Classic family combines safety, comfort and convenient mounting options for welding applications. Molded from Noryl, the thermoplastic shell resists heat, sparks and spatter, with molded-in color and a silver coating that improves abrasion and weathering resistance. The safety-forward shape extends downward to protect the throat and mixes straight and curved front profiles to block fumes and smoke. A molded glass holder features a lift-up telescoping/flip-up lid that seals against light-leak and provides roomy interior clearance for spectacles or respirators; a shade 10 fixed welding lens is included in helmet variants. Headgear options include the strip-proof, ratchet-style 3-C headgear with free-floating arms and multiple adjustment settings for comfort and stability. The Speedy Loop Hard Hat Mounting System is available as a quick, tool-free adapter for mounting helmets to hard hats and contains no metal parts so it will not affect dielectric rating. All variants state compliance with ANSI Z87.1 and CSA Z94.3.
