The Ergodyne N-Ferno 6847 FR Balaclava Face Mask is constructed from Polartec FR Power Grid fleece for lightweight warmth, breathability, and thermal protection. This dual-compliant face mask meets NFPA 70E per ASTM F1506 and NFPA 2112 and is ARC Rated CAT 2. The grid-construction knit minimizes fabric mass while maximizing performance, creating open air channels for improved breathability; the hydrophilic interior absorbs and transfers moisture to the exterior for efficient evaporation. The design includes a 3-panel, form-fitting and hinged construction for multiple wear options (neck gaiter to ski mask), fits one size, covers the neck, head and face, and is machine washable for on-the-job convenience.
