Ergodyne Chill-Its 6700FR Evaporative FR Cooling Bandana delivers on-the-job cooling relief and flame-resistant protection in one simple, reusable product. Filled with activated acrylic polymer crystals, the bandana soaks up moisture—soak 2–5 minutes—to provide evaporative cooling for up to 4 hours. Made from a modacrylic cotton blend, it includes a tie closure for an adjustable, snug fit across a variety of head sizes and can be reactivated by re-wetting. Designed for heat-stress prevention in hazardous work environments, the product meets ASTM F1506 (ATPV 7.1 cal/cm2), ASTM F2302, and is classified CAT1/HRC1 per NFPA 70E. Care instructions: hand wash with mild detergent, rinse and blot dry.
