The StarTech.com USB-C to HDMI 2.1 Adapter Cable is an integrated adapter-and-cable solution for connecting DP Alt Mode-enabled USB Type-C sources to HDMI displays at HDMI 2.1 FRL resolutions. It supports up to 8K 60Hz or 4K 144Hz video, HDR10, HDCP 1.x/2.2/2.3 and DSC 1.2a, and passes 7.1-channel audio formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Adaptive receiver equalization optimizes input and output signals while cage shielding helps prevent electromagnetic interference; the integrated design minimizes potential points of failure and signal loss. The cable is compatible with USB-C DP Alt Mode, USB4, Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 devices and works with laptops and monitors from vendors such as Dell, HP, Lenovo and Microsoft.
