Ergodyne GloWear 8256Z Self-Extinguishing Hi-Vis Safety Vest - Type R Class 2

The Ergodyne GloWear 8256Z Class 2 Self-Extinguishing High Visibility Safety Vest is built from durable, breathable treated 100% polyester mesh designed to provide maximum visibility day and night while limiting after-flame. The vest includes a convenient front zipper closure, ANSI/ISEA Type R Class 2 compliant 2" reflective tape, an exterior open-top upper-left chest pocket and an interior lower-left pocket for tools, notebooks and small items. Self-extinguishing performance is defined to ASTM D6413 (less than two seconds and under 6 in/15 cm char length) and the self-extinguishing treatment is effective for up to 25 washes; the vest is machine washable. Intended for safety and visibility tasks—ideal in work conditions with sparks—this vest does not provide fire resistance and should not be worn where arc flash or flash fire hazards are present.
