This Tripp Lite product family includes HDMI-to-DVI-D adapter cables and HDMI-to-DisplayPort active converters designed to connect HDMI sources to DVI or DisplayPort monitors and projectors. Common features across the line include gold-plated connectors and contacts for reliable signal transfer, molded or impact-resistant housings, and compact cable designs for use in tight installations. DisplayPort-capable models transmit EDID, are HDCP 1.3 and DisplayPort 1.2a compliant, support 7.1-channel audio and resolutions up to 4Kx2K@30Hz; DVI-D adapter models support computer and HD resolutions up to 1920x1200/1920x1080. Some converters include a built-in USB power plug for active conversion when additional power is required. Warranty and specific feature sets vary by model.
