The StarTech.com 4K HDMI Extender family provides a complete transmitter and receiver kit to extend HDMI audio and video over a single CAT5e/CAT6 cable for point-to-point installations. Designed for plug-and-play deployment with no software or IP configuration required, the kits support 4K video and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling and deliver HDMI audio options. Power-over-Cable (PoC) lets a single power adapter connect to the transmitter and power the receiver, simplifying installations where power outlets are limited. Each kit includes an IR extension solution (IR blaster and IR receiver) with adhesive for remote control of source devices, plus an HDMI output on the transmitter for local display or cascading additional extenders.
