The Ergodyne Squids product family includes retractable tool lanyards and loop-ended tool attachments designed to tether hand tools and reduce dropped-object hazards while working at height. Common features across the line include high-strength Technora cord surrounded by tubular nylon webbing, modular quick-connecting buckles for exchanging tools, and adjustable barrel locks for secure attachment. Squids components are designed to work together (attachments compatible with Squids retractable lanyards) to enable quick tool exchange and reliable tool retention. The family is tested to ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 and supports tools up to a 2 lb working capacity, providing durable, industry-grade tool tethering for professional use at height.
