The StarTech.com DP2DVIS is an active DisplayPort 1.2 to DVI-D single-link adapter that lets you connect a DisplayPort video source (desktop PC, laptop, docking station, etc.) to a DVI-D monitor, projector or Apple Cinema Display HD. It provides active conversion for use with any DisplayPort output — ideal for systems that cannot output DP++ (e.g., some AMD Eyefinity configurations). The compact, black adapter includes a 5.7" (15 cm) attached cable, a latching DisplayPort connector to prevent accidental disconnects, and supports DVI screw-locking cables. Tested with DVI cables up to 25 ft, it supports resolutions up to 1920x1200 and 1080p at 60Hz with EDID/DDC pass-through for compatibility.
